The word "wellness" is completely overused. Everyone wants "health & wellness" yet, so many aren’t actually practicing it. Why? Because society and wellness culture doesn't actually educate on what it means. We talk about “wellness”, and we say quotes like “stay positive” and an “attitude of gratitude” but this is not wellness. That’s toxic positivity.
It's a vicious cycle of yo-yo diets, calorie counting, over-exercising, and living outside your body. You're trapped in a never-ending pattern of "what if", "someday", and "I'm going to". Well, now is the time to actually take control of your life and start living...for YOU.
I'm a Certified Health Education Specialist that is trained in initiating lasting behavior change. I focus on real health and real wellness through intuitive living and the 8 dimensions of wellness. I teach others how to ditch toxic wellness culture and actually listen and follow what their body needs. In this course, The Way to Wellness, I'm going to teach and guide you on what real wellness looks and feels like in your body.
Wellness is the state of being. It looks at someone based on their entire life, and it means casting votes on overall physical and emotional health through behavior change, personal growth, and awareness. Wellness is more than just being illness free or super fit. It’s about your quality of life and focusing on optimal conditions of living, thriving, and existing based on how you feel within. It’s not about being a gym rat or a total health nut. It’s about how you feel in your most natural state.
